Our number one goal is to bring the most talented and creative actors together with dynamic production teams to build casts that illustrate the broad spectrum of today’s world.
La Padura/Hart Casting is one of the busiest casting offices in the entertainment industry today. Based in Los Angeles, Jason La Padura and Natalie Hart have cast a wide variety of film, television and stage projects nationwide. The company is well-known for assembling ethnically and culturally diverse casts like that of the critically acclaimed series “Heroes”. Among their recent projects are “Code Black” starring Marcia Gay Harden and “Salvation” starring Santiago Cabrera for CBS.
Past series include “Golden Boy”, “Touch”, “Crossing Jordan” and “American Dreams.” For the Walt Disney Company and Disney Channel, they have cast 28 movies including all the “High School Musical” films, and the 2 biggest cable movies of 2015, “Teen Beach 2” and “Disney’s Descendants.”
They have been nominated for 2 Emmy Awards, 11 Artios awards (winning for Outstanding Children’s Programming for “High School Musical” and “Outstanding Short Film “The Learning Curve”) and are the recipients of the Media Access Award, presented by the State of California for their work in casting actors with special needs and disabilities.
